Gamepad play. Plug in a controller and it just works — the sticks and d-pad move you, buttons cover the things a pad player otherwise couldn't reach (target cycling, your inventory), and with a dialog open the pad switches to menu duty so you can't wander around underneath an open window. On Steam Deck, tapping into a text field now raises the on-screen keyboard. Keyboard, mouse and touch are untouched.
2026-07-25wait is back. After four years off-limits to players, wait <n> works again — clamped to a 5-second pause so it can't be abused the old way. The bare wait still gives you the "waits patiently" idle emote, same as always.
2026-07-24The Slot Forge. A new machine lets you pay gold from your bank to add an extra upgrade slot to a piece of regular armor — a straightforward gold sink for gearing up further.
